Pinnacle Attends NACS Industry Update Luncheon

February 1st and 3rd, 2017 –  As a Hunter Club member, The Pinnacle Corporation (Pinnacle) attended the NACS Industry Update Luncheons in San Antonio and Houston, Texas, last week. These events provide Pinnacle the industry insights and professional collaboration opportunities that help us anticipate the needs of convenience store retailers.

Led by NACS President and CEO, Henry Armour, attendees learned vital information on important legislative and regulatory issues, data analysis broken out by region and planned initiatives for the coming year. Pinnacle was also able to connect with retailers and vendors in a more intimate setting to learn more about how these challenges and opportunities affect them and their companies.

Leading topics of interest focused on data and payment security, and labor issues including training, efficiency and retention. “NACS presented relevant and detailed data in a way that allowed vendors and retailers to make important decisions for 2017 with the most comprehensive information,” says Adam Mitchell, Marketing Manager at Pinnacle.

Discussions on the continued development and pending deadlines for EMV, anti-skimming and fraud prevention, and emerging payment channels such as Mobile Pay allows Pinnacle to keep our Multi-Site SkimDefend Mobile App, Point-to-Point encryption research and Affiniti Mobile Pay systems ready to meet the needs of retailers now and in the future. A focus on staffing efficiency and labor-saving technology informs how we continue to enhance our Palm POS, making it the most user-friendly point of sale on the market.

Pinnacle’s continued relationship with NACS and other vital industry organizations not only molds our software strategies in the near future, but cements the collaborative perspective we have with regards to partner and client participation in enhancing our technology solutions.
